I had been obese most of my life but at 67, my weight had spiraled out of control, and I was desparate. A major weight loss program had worked for a short term several years before, but I quickly became derailed and gained back the 75 pounds I had lost, plus another 50. I learned about Medi-Cal through a friend who had sucessfully been on the program.
